Why is it, that one is always desired most by people hitherto indifferent towards one, when one is spoken for? Not that I am complaining. I do enjoy the attention and am very amused by the sometimes absurd ways, with which – in my case – men try to win my favour. Still, it is odd, that men mistime their affection so thoroughly. Or is it me? Am I radiating with happiness, maybe? Or exuding attractants of a sexual nature? Can strangers smell my state of mind? And what am I to do with those, who I would have liked to flirt with or even date at any other given time? Or even did fancy once? Can I please put that interest by for rainier days to come? Yep, that’s me: asking for the impossible again.
