A brief update on those five individuals, A through to E, I’ve been reporting about not too long ago: remember, I closed with empathy for poor Mrs. E who was left by Mr. D for another woman. Not quite the whole story, as it turns out.

Seemingly, I have to add a sixth person, let’s call him Mr. F whom Mrs. E has an affair with since some time. So probably Mrs. E wasn’t that hurt and shocked by Mr. D leaving her but rather relieved? Who knows.
That known or felt fact might have brought Mr. D to fall in love with Mrs. C in the first place. Plus, I have to add: Mr. D, a very long time ago, already tried once before to (unsuccessfully) steal one of Mr.A’s girlfriends away. Maybe this was another reason for him to take interest in Mrs. C. What portion of our emotions is genuine and what portion is owed to circumstance, coincidence and the past?
Over the festive season, Mrs. B got another one of those relationship-shaking fits of not accepting Mr. A’s second partner, trying to pry him away from Mrs. C. But Mr. A wasn’t ready to change anything, so she puts up with it, growling.
And finally, also exciting I believe, Mr. A and Mr. D were set to spend a weekend together competing in the same team for a sports event. What with Mr. D in love or at least infatuated with Mrs. C but having been turned down by her and Mr. A sleeping with the very same woman, I was all nosy, how this would work out. Mr. A knew from Mrs. C about the advances, Mr. D has made on her, so he had a go at Mr. D, asking him whether there were personal problems between them, that cause Mr. D to chat up women Mr. A is involved with. Over a couple of beers the two men found their team spirit again somehow, I am informed, but I still would like to know what excatly was said by each. Unfortunatly, I don’t know, not yet anyways. I’ll keep you informed, if I ever am…
As for me, that’s pretty much how I feel today:
