Since a soaring headache is best tended to with lots of coffee and cigarettes, this is just what I prescribed myself today. Watching bits and pieces of Jim Jarmush’s movie “Coffee and Cigarettes”. Like the scene with Iggy Pop and Tom Waits best, so far.
About yesterday: A great night out it was. Must have been waxing lyrical once more, poor souls who listen to the crap I am usually ranting on about with a few drinks too many. It’s their own fault, really, they should know me by now. As for the competition: My regular partner and I played decent bridge, teammates lacking a little. So we came out pretty much all square, so far. We’ll see how it goes on over the next two league weekends.
