Am invited to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert by my regular bridge partner tonight. Tonight Sir Simon Rattle is doing a couple of Schubert songs (which I am not that keen on) and other short pieces of music. Shall be great again. The seats my friend has are right above the orchestra at their backs. So whenever I am there, I get to see the conductor at work all the time. Sir Simon is quite funny and a showman. living in vienna? you must be kidding. check out Staatsoper or Musikverein, they usually offer real cheap student tickets. it’s well worth going…
