Well, well,well. As for the usual ado at that reception, everything was as normal. I did my stuff and as I am an old hag at it, I did it well. Never mind, that my sacked boss was there along with the guy who wants to take over our firm. And all the gossip about how bad my place of employment looks right now. On the other hand: everyone I recruited from “our” side also turned up to show resistance. So far, so good, for the professional side of it. As far as my private issues were concerned: failure. Utter failure, in both cases. All in all, I am very grateful for my team’s support. But I would much rather be happy… Ooch, now the term “whinging woman” pops back into my mind. So I better shut up.
