Austria once had a chancellor by the name of Kreisky. 13 years he governed what used to be called the “Sonneninsel” and his nickname was “Sonnenkönig”. One can tell, that Austria was faring well during those times. Today, an Austrian rock band named itself Kreisky. I like that idea although I don’t know whether they named themselves after the chancellor or picked that name for some other reason. But the music is good, so I’ll let you have a look at both: the band and the chancellor.

i like the boys, too. wish there was more of them on youtube. never saw a cd to be bought anywhere here in Berlin. Do you know, where they come from, exactly?
