Well, now. The word categorical got a whole new meaning these days.
Here’s the dictionary definition according to Webster’s:
categorical
1.) without qualifications or conditions; absolute; positive; direct; explicit: said of a statement, theory, etc.
2.)of, as, or in a category
To me, it sounds now a lot more like CAT/EGO/rical. There is just no arguing about who outwits whom here. This beast got way ahead of me. The first night, kitty woke me about a million times, demanding I don’t know what. Since the animal doesn’t seem to be too fond of me anyways. So I started to ignore her. Turns out, I am an absolute beginner at ignoring anything. She wouldn’t even touch the food I gave her yesterday morning. Despite the fact, that food is the one and only thing she ever wants of humans as far as I was able to gather ever since I know that cat. Other than caressing from the rightful owner from time to time, that is. As I, in this cats express opinion, am apparently a very minor can opener, I shall remain in my humble underling position. What else can I do? Maybe, by the pure grace of her royal highness, I might get lucky and will be promoted to “tolerable can opener”.
In the meantime I will start to reconsider the meaning of “bitchy”. Might be an endearing term rather than an abusive one, after all.
