My oh my! Am in dire need of coffee. As I bring the kettle to a boil, impatient for the whizzing to turn into that bubbling sound, I listen to Denis Leary, ranting on about the diversity in todays coffee-and-what-not-taste universe. Very entertaining! Where are the days you went to just get a cup of coffee? Although I am from the coffee house country, being used to various kinds of coffee on offer (melange, einspänner, mokka, kleiner brauner, etc.) it was all basically coffee. Coffee-flavoured coffee. Something, that seems to be out of fashion, nowadays. Anyhow, my homebrew is ready now, the day may begin.

Excellent! Thank God I’m living in provincial backwater and all we know here is coffee-freakin-flavoured coffee. If I would ask the nice lady in the coffeehouse about the flavour of the month she probably would kick my ass.
