Well, it certainly wasn’t Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac anymore. But the geriatric ward of the band kept up pretty well with Lidsey and Stevie who themselves are not as crispy as I remember them. However, the guitar art of Lindsey is still in great working order. Although the front pair seem to have picked the songs in the first half of the concert solely to relive their marriage counselling on stage. It was almost hurtful to watch and listen to how out of sync they are. They even kept so hard to their respective sides of the stage that I mentioned to my friend that Lindsey might get smacked if he ever ventured over that almost visible border separating the two. But over time they got their shit together and gave us some good moments. Guitar riffs to remember from Lindsey and some performance of the old boys Mc Vie and Mick Fleetwood. And of course, they opened with my favourite song: Monday morning. As I blogged it yesterday, here’s Second hand news from the old days in 1978. As this was a therapeutic evening of sorts. Hopefully curing me from going to see well aged icons once again.
Second hand news, Fleetwood Mac
