There are just days like today. Lasting forever. Full of many things but not neccessarily of things one wants. Leaving you behind exhausted, tired. Got up at 03:00 in the morning, was at the office 04:40, starting the tournament as of 06:00, working away till 17:00, meeting visitors, having dinner and a drink afterwards. Leaving me empty in front of the screen as I write this. At times like that, I get a little weak and search for a tune to repay myself for everything I had to give a miss due to all the chores and obligations. The things I would have liked to do instead. Sleep a little more, join my sweetheart and his buddies after their sports for dinner, have the energy to properly prepare Sunday’s sports event at work and so on. But not even the energy for a proper search is left any more. So a good old favourite of mine will have to do. Mr. Zimmerman’s classic, this time done by Jimmy Hendrix.
