The 150th Open Champion is Louis Oosthuizen. He managed to keep his game together in an incredibly calm fashion for such a young lad. Usually, on the back nine of the last round one could watch often golfers fall apart. Especially on hole 17, this devil of Road Hole in St. Andrews. Many a dream within reach ended right there. But not Mr. Oosthuizen’s of South Africa. He won in style. Congratulations to him. However, the biggest spectacle was provided by Miguel Ángel Jiménez at the Road Hole this time. He had hit his ball across that road and it was sitting right next to a stone wall. In a position where he could not play it. The wall didn’t leave him enough room for stance and swing to get the ball onto the green. So Mr. Jiménez decided to play the other way round: he smashed the ball against the wall, forcing it to bounce back off it. Thus, he got it right onto the green. Amazing. Suppose it was pure luck but nevertheless, this shot will be talked about for a real long time. Just watch it.
