Say what you may, but she is absolutely right. And great. I have refrained from posting any Amy Winehouse tracks so far. To this day I can not give you the exact reason for it. She was either hitting a mark too close to what I also feel, or else she was behaving so self destructive that I felt inclined to not give a damn about her any more, thus keeping me from quoting her music. But maybe it’s just that simple: a genius or at least a very talented person going to waste because of that said genius within them. Or is their talent there to give voice to their self- or otherwise inflicted destruction?
