Read something interesting today: the brains of tories/conservatives and liberals/democrats are different. Biologically. The part of the brain controlling empathy is clearly bigger in liberal minded people whereas the part regulating fear is bigger in conservative’s brains. But then again: what’s new? Narrowminded, backward-glancing people are scardycats. Why else would they vehemently defend everything familiar to them against new impulses and different views?

es war nicht von politikern (ausübende) sondern von politisch denkenden (meinung habende) leuten die rede, glaube ich
