Sunday matinée

Socrates noticed how many things of no use to him were on offer at the markets. For Wilhelm Wagenfeld sauntering the markets was quite a different experience. He noticed, how many things he could use were not offered. So he designed such things. Things of use. His credo in forming them: usability, durability, affordability. Even today, after almost 100 years, his design looks modern. Timeless. Classic.
