what happened

Recently something happened to me I still can’t put in words. In the big picture it might be something common, happening to and experienced by many. But it still humbles me. Makes me rejoice in life. Tender inside. Seldom I feel like quoting words of old, but on this occasion I can’t help the impulse: I must be one of those women who are highly favoured.
For now, all I can say, is, that this began in 1984 in a blaze. Has been trailing ever since, muffled by fatality, inabilities and concurrence of circumstances – in short the entire lot that sometimes shapes a life or two. And now a gap opened, letting air and light flood in in abundance. On the other hand, this also presents me with a variety of new challenges. Might alter my entire life. I just hope I make all the right choices.
