The most unspecific answer to enquiries such as “What’s up?” or “What is the matter with you?” is “NOTHING”. Null, naught, zero. No information volunteered. But mostly, this answer means something completely different. Like: “My brain is busy with another topic, don’t disturb.” or “None of your business.” or “What was the question, anyway?” or simply “I don’t want to talk about it.” and “I don’t want to talk with you.”. But on rare occasions it might be just that: NOTHING up, NOTHING the matter.
