TED

There is this wonderful website called TED, I just love. Full of speeches on so many topics, it’s hard to take a pick. Whenever I am bored or have spare time to kill (and access to the internet), I’d browse TED, listening in on speeches.

This morning I listened to Dan Ariely, talking for eight minutes about inequality and how we perceive it or want inequality levels to be (yes, seemingly, we want a certain amount of inequality, with wealth, that is. Not so with health or live expectancy).

I want to recommend my favorite speeches (so far), if you want to try it out: Sir Ken Robinson on how schools kill creativity, Hans Rosling with his great speech: The best stats you’ve ever seen and finally Barry Schwartz on the paradox of choice
