Although waning and therefore not perfectly round anymore, the moon is once again the topic here. As yesterday it rose red.

Very red, in fact. I wouldn’t have noticed. Our head greenkeeper invited me to a glass of wine last night. Why he owed me one, is a different story altogether. Anyways, as we stood in our smokers kitchen upstairs, he pointed out the colour of the rising moon to me. So I fetched my camera once again…

I just hope, this beautiful shading is not caused by the smoke in the atmosphere from the horrible fires in Indonesia.

From our point last night, I wasn’t able to stabilize my camera very well, so the images are a bit blurred. Actually, one turned out in a way, that looks, if the moon were falling out of the sky:
