I’ve been neglecting bridge and the bridge club of late. I start to get a real bad conscience about it. It has been end of March, when I agreed to update the members contact list and write a letter to all members, motivating them to come to the club and participate in the tournaments on offer on a more regular base.
And you know what? I haven’t even been there since. This has to stop. Not only is the bridge club in severe trouble. Were it not for the other club sharing the rooms with us, we’d have to pack it in. It is also a past time, I used to enjoy. But if you stop playing on a regular base, you kind of lose the hang of it. And without a regular playing partner, it gets even more difficult.
So, not only will I have to complete the list, but also find someone to play with me next Thursday. That’s a priority, now.
