When visiting the winter light show at the Botanical Garden in Berlin recently, I discovered a weird looking phenomenon. Glancing up to the dark, overcast sky, out of which came a slight drizzle, I saw what looked a bit outlandish, almost like spaceships roaming the skies.

It took me a while to realize, it was just the low hanging clouds reflecting back the coloured lightbeams of so many spotlights pointed at an upward angle to immerse numerous trees in gaudy colours. But it still looked so nice and somewhat surreal, so I took pictures. Hope, you like them, too…
