no rain, no art

I am so fed up with this drought. Heat and dust everywhere. But I don’t want to complain too much, looking at Sweden and California burning.

However, I have to dedicate my early mornings to watering my garden, to keep things alive.  Hence – no art on a Sunday morning untill it rains.

But I do have some beauties to show. Took a new staff member from Poland to Berlin  yesterday, just to show her how to use the subway system and find her bearings in town. While we were at it, she also got a brief tour of sights. At one point, we stopped at a mall at Potsdamer Platz. There we stumbled into a Florist’s trainee competition. The entire floor was covered with stalls containing young florists working on stunningly beautiful flower arrangements.

We had no time to wait for the outcome and the winner, but I took a few pics to share with you.
