Sunday Matinée

Today, I’d like to introduce Edward B. Gordon. Whom I was made aware of by my sweetheart. He saw something about him on TV and liked his body of work a lot. And I agree. It is weird to never have heard about this particular artist before. As he is a German, incidentally. And lives and works in Berlin, sometimes also London. He paints figurative. He also runs a blog called “A painting a Day” on his website, which is a nice idea, I think. It would stress me a lot, having to come up with a piece of art every day. No idea, how he does it.

Something almost being said – Berlin, Oberschöneweide – Edward B. Gordon
Unter den Linden – Berlin – Edward B. Gordon
Drying Laundry in the Summer Garden – Edward B. Gordon
Democracy – Edward B. Gordon
The Puddle – Edward B. Gordon
Tables – Edward B. Gordon
Yellow Tomatoes – Edward B. Gordon

  1. All of these are captivating, but two tug at my heartstrings. The Puddle, because I kind of look like that in my Wellie boots, and Drying Laundry, because I love to hang my sheets on the clothesline and watch them billow in the breeze. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
