Please meet Denise Buisman Pilger this fine summer Sunday. Although based in Montreal, Denise has traveled the world gathering inspiration for her urban photo-collages along the way.
Originally from the Netherlands, Denise has a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from Willem de Kooning Academy of Arts in Rotterdam.
And she obviously is into Japan and its artistic tradition a lot. I really love her modern view on age old imagery.

Quite striking! I love the colors and patterns of the clothing, which star in so many of these. Also her depictions of the weather–snow, rain, wind. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
