It always surprises me, how alienatd one gets to the place and people, once you leave home to live abroad. I truly believe ones perspectives change in an irreversible way. For example: I quite like the new architectural structures added to Graz in 2003. And one of my oldest friends still refuses to set a foot on the Murinsel or into Kunsthaus. I think both buildings are like a breath of fresh air for that city, dwelling in its beauty of old and hating change. Steirischer Herbst and Forum Stadtpark notwithstanding. Why not think different?
