It always surprises me, how alienatd one gets to the place and people, once you leave home to live abroad. I truly believe ones perspectives change in an irreversible way. For example: I quite like the new architectural structures added to Graz in 2003. And one of my oldest friends still refuses to set a foot on the Murinsel or into Kunsthaus. I think both buildings are like a breath of fresh air for that city, dwelling in its beauty of old and hating change. Steirischer Herbst and Forum Stadtpark notwithstanding. Why not think different? Why not welcome new ideas? Why not open your mind? Anyway, I was very sorry not having been able to meet my friend. Seems, he got stuck in his head. I’m an alien, I’m a legal alien…
