Tonight I had the opportunity to repay a friend who has been feeding me with home cooked meals quite often recently. As he needed to pick up something from my place, I offered to cook dinner. I made a chicken curry and it turned out nicely. As dinner’s over and the kitchen is spick and span again, I thought I’d let you know that I am able to cook, after all. In fact, I used to and enjoyed cooking for guests immensly, even for bigger crowds, once back in Austria I fed fifty people. However, one needs the space, time and funding for such things. Also, a big garden with home grown vegetables comes in handy. All gone. So is my guest tonight, sadly enough.
