Surprisingly, the outcome of the first leg of the team competition on Tuesday was not as disastrous as expected. We won two out of three fights, albeit only by a couple of imps (international match points). The third we lost 0:66 imps, it can’t get any worse. Tonight we play the four opponents left. My young team are all excited, they think now we won’t be last. I still doubt that but let them their hope. Yesterday I played with a friend at the Ladies and ranked second. In the end, we could pinpoint the one board that we tossed, thus missing first place. But what the heck, we were happy anyways.
