The stuff one is unaware of going on… Inktober. I stumbled upon this term, used by fictionistasan, following my reader here on wordpress.com.
Hooked by the word, I found out about this initiative, created by a certain Mr. Jake Parker. Quote his Inktober Site: “Every October, artists all over the world take on the InkTober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month. I created InkTober in 2009 as a challenge to improve my inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.”
Ink drawings. Nice idea, I think. And if one asks google for exhibits, one stumbles upon some fine samples of diversity in ink. Among lots of doodles and weird phantasy creatures, I have to add.
