It has been devastating, meeting my father yesterday. I am not even sure he recognised me. He can’t talk, nor sit up properly, nor eat. He can hold the fork, but not coordinate his hand to find the mouth. I am lost for words. And can not feel anything. There is this dam, that, I am sure, will break some time soon.
