tired

Yesterday was a VERY long day. First work, then groceries, then annual general meeting at the bridge club (I take the minutes), then the radio interview for my friend. We arrived home around midnight.

Knowing some of the schedule, I had wisely put myself on backshift today. So, theoretically, I could have slept until seven this morning. If it weren’t for Lilly, the cat.

She was of the opinion, that I really needed to get up at five this morning. Making her point by first pawing my feet. When this wasn’t working to her satisfaction, she tried the other end, getting into my face. Literally.

Now it is two and a half hours later and at least I had the opportunity to catch up on the reader here on wordpress. But I am still very tired. Today is going to be sort of hellish, I think. Wish me luck…
