The last couple of days have been real cold, it never really came to any decent daylight, as the dense fog never lifted an inch. Thus lots of moisture gathered on trees and grass. As soon as the sun came out yesterday, all this frosted glory shone all of a sudden. Making me feel happy, looking out of my office window, sitting inside nice and cosy, looking at a sugarfrosted landscape. Couldn’t believe, there were still golfers out, playing in the freeze, but hey, suit yourself…

I realize this is probably bad for the tender little branches, but I love “Reif” (is that the right word?) Since coming to Austria, three fourths of my x-mas’s have been green ones. And three fourths of the white ones were due to Reif.Lovely pics.

I think the full word is Raureif, which is seldom used, people just call it reif. When it is sunny, it does look great
