Please meet David Storey this week. The British painter says about his work:

“My paintings are an exploration of memory. They offer glimpsed or half-remembered figures and faces – ‘re-imagined ancestors’ recovered from a personal archive of the forgotten.”

There is something to say about this. My first thought was “vague, lost in thought…” One does get thinking, while looking at the paintings and scenes, don’t you agree?
