It was sweetheart’s birthday yesterday, so we went for some fine dining. Berlin offering a great choice of real good eateries, he opted for a restaurant set up in a former girl’s school gym. It was a prolonged lunch really, as the football world cup is on, and he wasn’t going to miss the match Spain vs. Portugal at night.
But I have to say, as impressive as the interior of the venue, as delicious was the food. We had an endless list of courses of fine food in small doses brought out to us. Along with real nice wine, it was a very relaxed family affair. Let’s me almost forget, I live with an elderly man now 🙂
