Listened to a talk show yesterday. One of the guests, a German Comedian, recited a text featuring a chain of ideas I found intriguing. In German, the text rhymes, I’ll try and translate to English. I think some of these brain twists very nice.

Trees are bushes on beams / screws are nails with wrinkles / riding a train is flowing on rails / rivers are travelling oceans

dreams are sleep with ideas / hedgehogs are cacti that walk / windows are walls made of glass and mountains longlasting waves

Walls are very straight piles / seconds are hours in a rush / eggs are hens in the make / coma is amok in the mirror / cacti are footsore hedgehogs

cupboards are houses for things / crying is very sad laughing / clouds are puddles that fly and Zs are Ns, while they lie / wheat is grass with an ear / swimming is flying for the heavy
