Sweetheart and I live in Berlin suburbia, as people who sniff into this blog once in a while, might already know. And I did mention before, that we are right on the border between former East and West Germany. Of course, thirty years after The Wall came down, it all has intermingled duly. People of all denominations are now living here.
Nothing is more telling, than entrances & front gardens. Here is a little show of the weird things, folks consider fit to be put in the face of the public. Walking the streets, it has become a hobby of mine, to guess, what kind of person might be living behind this or that door. Others might be calling this “sharpening of prejudices”, but it also is fun, I have to confess. And some folks really make it easy to laugh….

I’m not big on lawn ornaments… My favorite was the giant rock anchored down so it wouldn’t escape. 🙂
