In my humble opinion, there is no soy sauce like kikkoman soy sauce. Who wouldn’t be able to tell “real” soy sauce from any other kind by just looking at the distinct little, red-topped bottle.
A certain Mr. Kenji Ekuan designed this iconic little 150 ml condiment vessel in 1961. Becoming one of the great Japanese industrial designers, he also designed other things like motorbikes and trains and headed Japanese GK Industrial Design Associates as chairperson. He died Feb,9th 2015, aged 85.
